Before and After Pictures, Take Two
[info]celticdragonfly just created an animation of the pictures I posted yesterday so you can really see the change. For those not familiar with the geography, New Orleans is at the bottom center edge of the lake in the middle.

Great Googly Moogly. I am reminded of the pictures of the area hit worst in last year's tsunami, the bay was bigger afterwards than before.

Ye gods, what do people do when their homes wind up as a new extension of the ocean? If the bank forecloses, so what? )))shudder(((

I read an article on the Times-Picayune's breaking news site (http://www.nola.com/newslogs/breakingtp/) talking about Fannie Mae giving mortgage relief and help. I think in those people's places I'd throw in the towel and let the bank "repossess".

The really stupid one was this:
Ford Motor Credit customers who are eligible for the Disaster Relief Program should receive letters next week with instructions on how to register.

Please, for this technologically inept goob, what am I looking at when I look at the pictures? What is where and what does it signify? Can you add legends and tags to the pictures?
