Overheard In the Hallway
"We should build the plane so if a pilot ever gets into that situation it self-destructs and takes him out of the gene pool."

Apparently some of the Flight Controls folks aren't happy with their requirements.

So they want the Skarrier auto eject on engine fail to go a couple of steps farther, huh ? Maybe just ejecting the pilot and returning to base would be more cost effective... :-)

Crashing doesn't count as self destructing. Self Destructing implies intent. V-22's are helicopters. Inherent design flaw. Doesn't count. ;-)
