Ethics Poll
Between seeing Marie Antoinette and contemplating what I could do with a new D&D prestige class's abilities, I came up with a scenario that has serious ethical issues:

Assume a royal arranged marriage is taking place, essential for reasons of state, and accepted by the couple, but with no attraction or liking between them. Is it ethical to dose both of them with love potions so they can have a happy marriage?

Yes
3(7.3%)
Yes, if they both give informed consent
27(65.9%)
Yes, if the potion won't reduce their effectiveness as rulers
6(14.6%)
No, true misery is better than false happiness
0(0.0%)
No, using love potions never ends well
5(12.2%)

Feel free to explain the inarguable correctness of your position in the comments.

Current Mood: silly
